The percentage of website visitors or app users who engage in a chat session. Engagement rates can provide insights into how proactive or appealing your chat interface is and if users feel the need to ask questions or get clarifications.

If 50 out of 1000 website visitors initiated a chat, the Chat Engagement Rate is 5%.
