The percentage of new clients acquired through existing client referrals. Referrals are a strong indicator of client satisfaction and can be a cost-effective way of acquiring new business.

Formula

(Number of clients through referrals / Total new clients) x 100

Example

If 15 out of 50 new clients were referred by existing clients, the referral rate is 30%.
