Team Mood

Score

Team mood is an intangible yet crucial indicator of overall team satisfaction and motivation. It can help project managers address potential issues before they escalate. A consistently low score can indicate deeper underlying issues, possibly affecting project outcomes.

Formula

Typically measured through regular surveys or feedback tools, where team members rate their current mood on a predetermined scale.

Example

In a weekly check-in, team members rate their mood with one of three emojis (positive, negative, neutral) or on a scale 1-5 or 1-10. An average score of 8 suggests a generally positive team mood.
