App Install Rate measures the percentage of users who install the app after visiting the app's landing page or viewing an ad. It's a crucial metric indicating the effectiveness of the app's marketing and its initial appeal. A high install rate suggests successful marketing and compelling app presentation, while a low rate might indicate the need for improved marketing strategies or app store optimization.

If 1,000 people view an ad for the app, and 100 install it, the App Install Rate is (100/1000)*100 = 10%.
